This micro wedding at Donovan Pavilion in Vail, Colorado was intimate from beginning to end. Their closest people gathered together in the beautiful town of Vail and with plenty of little moments shared throughout the day, Noah and Meg’s wedding felt incredibly personal.
Donovan Pavilion was such a beautiful place for their wedding. The space immediately felt warm and inviting with the wooden interior and tall windows bringing in so much natural light. Out front, there was a cute open area that gave us plenty of room for portraits and surrounded by trees was the ceremony space.
And Vail itself was gorgeous. We had rain and sunshine but thankfully their wedding day was mostly sunshine with just a light sprinkle.

Getting Ready
Noah and Meg chose to get ready separately at nearby Airbnb’s. They stayed with their groomsmen and bridesmaids, which made getting ready photos feel natural and easy.
Once everyone was ready we headed over to Donovan Pavilion for their first look.
Their first look was so sweet and it gave Noah and Meg a few quiet moments together before the rest of the day began. We also took some portraits tucked away before their ceremony.

Ceremony
Their ceremony was one of those moments you could truly feel.
Meg’s brother actually officiated their wedding and that made the ceremony even more personal. Hearing him speak about them and their relationship had us all in tears. There was so much love and history between them and having someone so close to them lead the ceremony made it feel so meaningful.

After Ceremony Portraits
After the ceremony, we took some more time for Noah and Meg’s portraits as the sun slowly started to set.
We took their portraits out front of Donovan Pavilion and I was in love with the way the scenery came together with all of the beautiful birch trees. And of course, these two looked amazing!
Their bridal party portraits were also so much fun. I loved all the colors everyone wore and how everything came together. There was so much personality in their wedding party and you could tell how much love and fun they have for Meg and Noah.

Intimate Dinner
Once portraits were finished it was time for dinner.
The dinner space at Donovan Pavilion felt so inviting, especially as the sun went down. The wood interior mixed with the soft evening light created a cozy atmosphere for everyone to sit together and celebrate.
There was warm chatter throughout the room and speeches throughout dinner. It was the perfect way to end their wedding day.

Donovan Pavilion Vail, Colorado Wedding Venue
One of the things I loved about Donovan Pavilion was how many trails and adventures were nearby. Everything was within a short driving distance from each other and that made their day flow naturally and with ease.
You can have a beautiful outdoor wedding while still having a cozy indoor space to come back to.
