Hey there, I’m Meliyah!
Photography has been a passion of mine since forever!
I actually started taking pictures on a 3DS (no shame, lol)! Even then, I understood how powerful a photograph could be. Images have this rare ability to bring you back to a moment with all the feelings attached, the same way a scent unlocks a memory you didn’t realize you were missing.
That’s why documentary storytelling means so much to me. My mom passed away in 2024 and I’m so thankful for all the images I have with and of her. I want to give that to others as well, images to look back on that takes you back to a specific time.

Documenting the world for God’s glory! A lot of what I create stems from the beautiful creation outdoors and God in the details of things!

Photography is rooted in connection. Between each other, nature, and with the experience itself!
Honoring the Land
I am a Leave No Trace photographer and I value respecting all lands! Since a lot of my work is outdoors this is super important!
My husband
Isaiah is my favorite person. We’re high school sweethearts and recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary! If you ever get the chance to meet him, you’ll quickly understand what a bright light he is. He’s always eager to tag along behind the scenes, capturing video footage and lending a helping hand with anything!
My family
I absolutely love my family and enjoy spending quality time with them. They are my favorite people in the world! I have three brothers, and one of them is my twin, which makes our bond even more special. My parents are my best friends, always supporting and loving me unconditionally. Sadly, in 2024 we lost our mom and not a day goes by without her on our minds. I love and miss her so much.
Traveling
I love traveling and experiencing new things! I love seeing different landscapes, they always spark more creativity and inspire me to new ideas. There’s just so much beauty around the world and I’m always in awe of it.
Reading & Coffee
There’s nothing like a good cup of coffee and to pair that with a good book!? That is my type of day! Recently I’ve been making americanos at home and I literally can’t wait to make a cup each day lol! I love reading story books and I am a kindle girl through and through!!
