Planning a Horseshoe Bend Elopement or Engagement Session
This overlook is about a 1.5 mile round trip walk from the paved parking lot. The trail is wide, mostly flat, and very accessible, making it ideal for couples who want stunning scenery without an intense hike! When I visited in 2025 parking was $10 and the lot was spacious and easy to navigate.
Horseshoe Bend is a bucket list location for travelers all over the world. To avoid heavy crowds, we chose to photograph this couples session at sunrise and it was absolutely worth it!
Sunrise sessions give a more intimate and uninterrupted experience while having all the warm and dreamy shadows without the harsh midday sun.
A Dream Location for an Adventurous Love Story
Photographing this couple at Horseshoe Bend felt like a dream. Watching the sun rise over the canyon while they laughed, explored, and soaked in the moment together made the entire experience feel intentional and effortless.
Instead of stiff posing, we leaned into movement, connection, and letting the landscape frame their story naturally. It’s not just about the view, it’s about how it feels to stand there together.
Considering a Horseshoe Bend Elopement Instead?
